CINCINNATI -- Mired in a 0-for-19 skid with 10 strikeouts entering the night, usual leadoff batter and center fielder Drew Stubbs was dropped to seventh in Thursday's batting order vs. the Dodgers. Chris Dickerson batted leadoff and played left field. "It takes a little pressure off of him," manager Dusty Baker said. "Plus, when you're struggling and you're leading off, you're prone for 0-for-5 in a minute. They add up quickly, because you come up more than anybody in the game."
Stubbs hit a fifth-inning single on the ground through the left side Thursday and snapped his slump at 0-for-2.
