CINCINNATI -- Right-handed reliever Logan Ondrusek threw a simulated game on the field Tuesday. Ondrusek, who hasn't pitched since July 13 and went on the disabled list July 22 with a strained right shoulder, made 34 pitches over two innings to Kristopher Negron and Tucker Barnhart.
"I felt strong, felt good and everything so far is pointing to me being healthy," Ondrusek said. "So as long as it stays like that, we'll be happy and ready to go."
Ondrusek is tentatively slated to throw an inning in a Minor League game yet to be determined on Friday and possibly rejoin the Reds in Colorado on Saturday.
