A strained right knee, considered slight by the club, forced Bailey out of his July 10 start vs. the Cubs in the sixth inning. He was given the most rest by Price and doesn't make his first start of the second half until Tuesday vs. the Brewers.
"He's not battling it, but I think he still has a little bit of sensation," Price said. "But he went home and threw a full bullpen the other day and got through that OK. We hope he'll be close to 100 percent by the time we get to Milwaukee."
Latos left his July 11 start vs. the Pirates after five innings because of lower back spasms but seems to be fine.
"Latos is doing everything pain-free," Price said.
