Outfielder Jesse Winker, the Reds' No. 3 prospect, hit a walk-off home run Thursday, leading Double-A Pensacola to a 3-2 victory against Jacksonville. It was his second walk-off hit in as many games.

After Marlins' No. 7 prospect Jose Urena held the Blue Wahoos to two runs on four hits in eight innings, right-hander Casey McCarthy came out of the bullpen to start the ninth. Leading off the inning was Winker, who had been hitless against Urena. Winker wasted little time, driving McCarthy's second pitch out to right field for a solo home run.

Winker, ranked No. 87 on MLBPipeline.com's Top 100 Prospects list, finished the game 1-for-4 with a run and an RBI. He has now reached base safely in 19 straight games, including all 14 since being promoted to Pensacola at the All-Star break.

Thursday's walk-off came on the heels of more heroics from Winker on Wednesday night. In that game, he hit an RBI single in the bottom of the 15th inning, giving Pensacola a 4-3 victory against Jacksonville.

Winker had an All-Star first half with Class A Advanced Bakersfield, hitting .317/.426/.580 with 13 home runs in 53 games. Since his promotion, he is hitting .208/.338/.358 with two home runs.

Right-hander Ben Lively, the Reds' No. 12 prospect, started Thursday's game for Pensacola. He allowed two runs on six hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out seven batters and threw 104 pitches.

Like Winker, Lively began the season with Bakersfield and was named to the California League All-Star team. In three starts since his promotion, he is 0-1 with a 2.93 ERA. He has struck out 20 batters and walked 11 in 15 1/3 innings.
