Manager Bryan Price was not concerned.
"He wasn't sharp. It was a combination. His slider wasn't real good. His velocity wasn't real good, which is fine. He's pitching without his best velocity all year," Price said. "He's coming off elbow surgery, so he's going to have days like that. He wasn't sharp and the hitters had some comfortable swings, so it made sense to go to [Aroldis] Chapman there."
