CINCINNATI - This afternoon's game between the Cincinnati Reds and San Francisco Giants at Great American Ball Park is scheduled to begin on time at 1:10 p.m. ET.
"We recognize today's forecast indicates the potential for rain throughout our region, but there also appears to be a chance we can get the game in," said Reds Chief Operating Officer Phil Castellini. "We could see a rain delay but we are going to do everything we can to play ball, in part because of the absence of an equitable common day off between the two teams the rest of the regular season."
Great American Ball Park gates will open at 11:20 a.m. for season ticket holders and 11:40 a.m. for the general public.
