Frazier, Heisey, LeCure & Stubbs to provide an unforgettable day at the ballpark

|

Prior to this evening’s game at Great American Ball Park, Reds players Todd Frazier, Chris Heisey, Sam LeCure and Drew Stubbs will provide everlasting memories to a group of 50 children from the James J. Espy Club, Lower Price Hill from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, as the Major League Baseball Players Trust’s “Buses for Baseball” program motors into Cincinnati.

Courtesy of the Players Trust, the children will receive round-trip transportation to the game, meet the players, and receive free tickets, food, beverages and souvenirs.

This season, “Buses for Baseball” will provide transportation and personal greetings for more than 750 underprivileged children attending Major League Baseball games as invited guests of their big league heroes. “Buses for Baseball” will provide many of the children with their first chance to attend a Major League Baseball game.

The Players Trust enjoys support from the Cincinnati Reds organization in providing this unique, up close and personal opportunity to share the thrill of Major League Baseball with those less fortunate.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati provides a positive, safe place for children ages 6-18 to spend their non-school hours surrounded by caring adults and are engaged in enriching, age appropriate youth development activities. Their educational, recreational, art and character building programs offer a safe and positive environment for these at-risk children to learn respect, discipline and leadership skills.
