Reds outright reliever Fisher to Triple-A
CINCINNATI -- The Reds announced Wednesday that right-handed reliever Carlos Fisher cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Louisville.

Fisher was invited to big league Spring Training as a non-roster player. That brings the total number of players expected at camp to 57.

Cincinnati designated Fisher for assignment on Feb. 8 to make room for the free-agent signing of Ryan Ludwick.

Although he spent most of 2011 at Louisville, Fisher had four big league stints with the Reds. He was 0-3 with a 4.50 ERA in 17 games, with all three losing decisions coming during extra-inning games.
