Kelch to fill in as Reds announcer

CINCINNATI -- The Reds announced that longtime Triple-A Louisville voice Jim Kelch will do fill-in work on 14 Reds radio broadcasts this season.

Kelch will work with either Hall of Fame voice Marty Brennaman or Jeff Brantley, with his first game coming up on May 12 after the Reds return home from a short road trip to New York.

While previously doing substitute game-calling duties in the past with the Reds and Cardinals, Kelch is in his 20th season of working Louisville Bats games. He's also the voice of the University of Louisville women's basketball team.

Other games on Kelch's schedule include May 13-15, May 30-June 1, July 18-19, Sept. 2-4 and Sept. 18-20.
