Shortstop Zach Vincej was claimed off of waivers by the Mariners, and catcher Chad Wallach was claimed by the Marlins.
Kivlehan spent the entire season in the big leagues with the Reds as a bench player. In 115 games, he batted .208/.304/.399 with nine home runs and 26 RBIs.
Vincej, Wallach and McGuire were all September callups. Vincej, known for his strong defense, was 1-for-9 with Cincinnati after spending the season at Louisville. Wallach was originally acquired from Miami with DeSclafani in the Dec. 11, 2014, trade for pitcher Mat Latos. He was 1-for-11 with the Reds.
Reds renew with WLW
The Reds and 700 WLW announced a five-year extension of their radio-rights agreement through the 2022 season
WLW-AM aired the first radio broadcast of a Reds game in 1924 and has served as the team's flagship station since 1969.
