Sunday, March 18 Braves at the plate: Jeff Francoeur's two-run homer in the first staked Atlanta to a 2-0 lead. The Braves added single runs in the third (Kelly Johnson's solo homer) and fourth, but let a big opportunity to break open the game slip away when, after scoring once, they squandered a bases-loaded, no-out rally in the fourth. Reds at the plate: Scott Hatteberg doubled in the fifth to knock in the first run Cincinnati, which struggled at the plate early. His double scored Alex Gonzalez, who'd singled with two outs.
Up next: The Braves take on the Indians on Monday at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. Game time is 1:05 p.m. ET. Left-hander Chuck James will start, and James will face Tribe right-hander Adam Miller.
As for the Reds, they travel to Lakeland, Fla., to play the Tigers at Joker Marchant Stadium. Right-hander Bronson Arroyo will get the start, and he'll face Tigers left-hander Kenny Rogers. Game time is 1:05 p.m.
