Reds at the plate:
Chris Denorfia (2-for-3, two runs scored and one RBI) opened the game with a home run, his first of the spring. Adam Dunn (1-for-2) had an RBI single, scoring Denorfia in the third.
Red Sox at the plate:
Wily Mo Pena went 2-for-3 with a double. Manny Ramirez doubled for his only hit, while five other Sox batters added singles.
Reds on the mound:
Starter Kyle Lohse picked up the win, going five scoreless innings, giving up three hits and striking out three. Victor Santos got the save, his second of Spring Training.
Red Sox on the mound:
In his first Grapefruit League start, Jonathan Papelbon (0-1) was charged with the loss, going 3 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on five hits -- one for a solo home run -- walking one batter and hitting another. Joel Pineiro pitched 1 2/3 innings, giving up two hits and a walk, striking out two.

The Reds travel to Lake Buena Vista, Fla., to face the Braves on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. ET. Right-hander Aaron Harang is scheduled to start opposite Buddy Carlyle.
Kason Gabbard will get the start on Sunday, as the Sox travel to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to take on the Orioles at 1:05 p.m. ET. Daniel Cabrera is expected to start for the O's.
