GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Originally slated to be in Saturday's lineup in the home game vs. the Rockies, Reds catcher Ramon Hernandez was scratched and Corky Miller started.
"He was a little sore," manager Dusty Baker said. "He'll probably play tomorrow. It's not his knee. He's just sore."
Baker has wanted to get Hernandez more playing time this spring since his 16 at-bats trail fellow catchers Ryan Hanigan and Devin Mesoraco. Hernandez is batting .188 in nine games.
