Reds at the plate: Adam Dunn was 2-for-3 with a leadoff home run in the fifth inning. In part of a four-run second inning, Dunn singled and scored a run. Later in the inning, Minor League infielder Jeff Bannon slugged a three-run homer to left field. Bannon added a single in the fourth and scored on Frank Menechino's base hit. Non-roster first baseman Andy Abad was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI singles. Javier Valentin was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Extra catcher candidate David Ross hit an RBI double in the eighth. The Reds totaled 17 hits for the afternoon.

Indians at the plate: Jason Michaels hit a first-inning double and scored later in the inning. Eduardo Perez had two hits, including a fourth-inning double. Aaron Boone had two singles and scored a run in the fifth.

Reds on the mound: Left-hander Brandon Claussen pitched six innings and allowed three earned runs and four hits. Claussen walked two and struck out four and threw a run-scoring wild pitch in the first inning. David Weathers pitched one scoreless inning with one hit and one strikeout. Ryan Wagner also pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

Indians on the mound: In his final spring start, lefty Cliff Lee gave up six earned runs on 10 hits with one walk and four strikeouts. Lee also gave up two homers. Matt Miller pitched an inning of relief and allowed one run on two hits. Bob Wickman gave up three runs in the top of the ninth and was lifted for Rafael Betancourt with two outs in the inning.

Grapefruit League records: Reds 21-11; Indians 19-11.

Up next: The Reds and Indians will play each other again at 1:05 p.m. ET on Saturday at Sarasota's Ed Smith Stadium. It will mark the end of the Grapefruit League season for both teams.
