LOS ANGELES -- Reds manager Dusty Baker isn't expecting injured shortstop Orlando Cabrera to be activated from the disabled list for this weekend's Dodgers series. Cabrera has been on the DL since Aug. 3 with a strained left oblique.
"He's getting better. Any time you have an oblique, if they tell you 'I'm ready today,' you give them two or three days," Baker said prior to Friday's opener. "He's about 75-80 percent with it. It's that 20-25 percent that's going to be the difference maker."
