COACHING CAREER: Jeff Pickler is in his first season in the organization and in his third year as a coach on a Major League staff...spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons with the Twins as their outfield coach and coordinator of Major League development, a position in which he advised all coaches and players on game preparation and strategy and coordinated the communication between Minnesota's Major League staff and player development...began his professional baseball career in 2006 with the Diamondbacks and for 3 seasons served as their advance scout and consultant to the Major League staff...also worked for the Padres as a special assignment scout (2010, 2012-2014), for the Angels as minor league infield coordinator (2011) and for the Dodgers as a special assistant in their scouting and player development departments (2015-2016)...in 2009 worked for the University of Arizona as an assistant coach.

PLAYING CAREER: The former infielder was selected by the Brewers in the 11th round of the June 1998 first-year player draft...played 8 seasons in the minor league systems of the Brewers (1998-2001), Rangers (2002-2004) and Rockies (2005).

PERSONAL: In 1994 graduated from Foothill (CA) High School...in 1995 attended Cypress (CA) Junior College, where he was an All-America selection…from 1996-1998 attended the University of Tennessee, where in 1998 he was the Scholar Athlete of the Year, Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and a consensus first team All-American...graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing...earned a master's degree in teaching and learning from National University...his father, Scott Pickler, has been the head coach at Cypress Junior College for 35 years and is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame...wife's name is Erica.
